Practical Nursing (PN) Goals:

Our goal is to help our Practical Nursing students acquire the knowledge and technical skills required to contribute to the nursing process as part of the healthcare team and to prepare them to successfully meet licensure requirements.

  • To provide education and training to the new generation of nurses who are competent and career-ready to perform as entry-level Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).

  • To provide students with the cognitive, psycho-motor, and affective skills required to deliver safe and quality patient care.

  • To ensure that students are successfully meeting program objectives and student learning outcomes.

  • To prepare students to pass licensure exam and gain employment in the field for which training is provided.
